Camp assignments are made based upon a child’s current grade in school.

campers who are completing 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in the 2018-19 school year (will be entering 7th, 8th, or 9th grade in fall 2019)
open only to campers who are completing 9th or 10th grade in the 2018-19 school year AND are fully participating in Orchard Park's youth program (entering 10th or 11th grade in fall 2019)
Can I register my child for camp if we're not members of Orchard Park Presbyterian Church (OPPC)?
How do I register my child for camp?
Click on the Registration page to register online.
We’ll send an email confirmation within a couple of days of when we
receive your registration.
a What if I want to register my child, but we may have a scheduling conflict?
Please register your child anyway! We will work with you as you resolve any schedule conflicts. It is much easier for us to cancel a registration later than it is to add a camper late in the process. If you have to cancel a registration at any time prior to camp, we will refund the full amount of your registration payment.
How much does camp cost?
We have a two-tier fee structure: the cost per camper depends upon when you register. Register early and save!
Our registration deadline for all camps is June 24.
Checks should be made payable to Orchard Park Presbyterian Church (note your camper's
name) and mailed to the church (address is on Registration page). At this time we are
unable to process online or credit card payments.
Is financial assistance available if I can’t afford to pay the full cost of camp?
Yes! We want every child to have the opportunity to attend camp. We offer
confidential financial aid: if you need assistance, let us know on your registration
form and we'll work with you. We ask families to contribute what they are able so
that we can be good stewards of our donors' resources. If you have questions,
email us using the form on the Contact page.
What’s the difference between Camp Pyoca and Camp Friendly?
Camp Pyoca is the Presbyterian facility where we hold our camp programs, located in Brownstown, IN. Camp Pyoca’s full name is Pyoca Camp, Conference, and Retreat Center; many people just refer to it as Camp Pyoca or Pyoca, though. Visit their website pyoca.org for more information.
Camp Friendly is the specific name of our OPPC camp for 3rd-5th graders held at Pyoca; it was OPPC’s first camping program.
Where is Pyoca?
Pyoca is located in Brownstown, IN. Their mailing address is:
886 E. County Road 100 S
Brownstown, IN 47220
Their website has more information and driving directions. It’s about a 2-hr drive from the north side of Indianapolis.
Do you provide transportation to camp?
No, we don’t; but if you need help with transportation, note that on your registration form or use the form on the Contact page and we'll help you connect with other parents who may be willing to carpool.
What medical forms will I need for my camper? What will my camper need to bring to camp?
We’ll email more information on these topics after we receive your registration. Another reason to register early!
What if I have other questions?
Use the email form on the Contact page to send your question to us.
